Did anyone subscribe directly to German Bonds?

Did anyone subscribe to German Bonds via this link? Is it very difficult to translate the german language account opening webpage and steps? I need to recover my german vocabulary from my store room.

I'd also like to know if anyone managed to do this without having to travel to Germany to open the account?
