On a site with an uninhabited house, which will be demolished and planning being sought to rebuild it, are another 2 derelict structures, it was formally a shop, there is also some kind of shed, all very old, the roof is mostly fallen in, as have parts of the walls, is planning required to demolish this. It was never a house, is inhabitable, an eyesore and council have put it on the Derelict list (but not the uninhabited house.)

Council are VERY happy the site will be sorted, but their other arm, the derelict people, are not helpful and won’t answer if the shop/shed can be just taken down now without permission.

The structure stands alone on the site, touches no other property and is a good distance from the uninhabited house. The house can not be seen as the curtilage of the site is walled.

Sorry, just wondering if permission is needed to demolish the shop + shed. They were never a “dwelling” nobody ever lived in them, they are falling in on themselves and the council have put a derelict levy on them, but won’t say if it’s ok to demolish them without needing permission.

The house is vandalised, no windows, burnt out, fittings all gone, for this planning is being sought to demolish. I have to point this out because there are different rules for houses.
