Delay in approval of AIB loan

Hi All,


I'm new to this site. I was reading the posts about those who have been waiting ages to hear back from tesco regarding their loan applications. I'm having a similar experience with my branch of Aib, fiancee and i applied for a loan two and a half weeks ago, after a couple of phonecalls still no decision received. In my ten years of banking with them i've never had to wait so long, at the most one day. Anyone else have the same expereince with them ?

Have you asked them why there is a delay?

Shop around. Don't rely on just one lender.

No i havnet asked, i've just been waiting patiently. the last call i had from the branch was last wednesday and they said they would be back to me by today, i just think its really strange.
