Degiro jargon

Hi all,

There's a new screen greeting me asking me to make a choice regarding the euro money market fund which I don't understand.

Can anybody provide guidance?

The image you link explains it pretty well. Any money you have in your DeGiro account is invested in a fund. If that fund loses money, DeGiro compensate you what ever you lost. If you change to the Morgan Stanley account, they will continue to compensate you. If you don't change they won't compensate you. TL;DR If you don't change to the Morgan Stanley fund, you could lose money. If you do change, you won't lose money.

I chose MS so that any losses can be compensated. I don't think the other choice is advantageous at all...

Ok.. I have never seen or at least noticed my css amount increasing in any way .. although i dont hold much cash with Degiro

If you have US shares, you'll see something like this in your Account tab:
Cash Fund conversion: Buy 1,003.009 at 0.997 EUR
Cash Fund conversion: Sell 282.078 at 0.9971 EUR
