Hello,
I have money invested with Irish Life and in Dec 2024, the deemed disposal exit tax was deducted. How do I declare this on the Form 11? My Form 11 shows the CGT tax that I have paid for 2024 but not the deemed disposal exit tax that has been paid. So if I put in my gain on the Irish Life investment, I would have to pay the tax again?!! Bar the letter that I received from Irish Life stating that the exit tax has been deducted, I have no other record that this has been done. Please could you advise. Thank you.

I was wondering the exact same questions as the original poster. Reading the answers then I wondered about the question further up that section in Form 11 where it states "Gross Deposit Interest received on which DIRT was deducted" where I take it that you do in fact put in the gross interest even though you have already had DIRT deducted from it at source. Can the wise on this forum indicate is this done differently to the deemed disposal as the response I think suggest? Thanks!

Is there an obligation to report all deposit interest on form 11 to allow for the PRSI calculation?
