Cycle to work scheme

Anyone have any info on this for people ouside the public sector? My employer hasn't offered it. Do they have to if I want to avail of it?

I'm open to correction but I thought there was a closing date last December for applications.

your employer has to be on board as it's a salary sacrifice that's being done. you should suggest they allow for it.

I think I saw April 30 as a cut off point!

There was a scheme in my workplace last year with a cut-off date.

Today there's an announcement of the 2010 scheme.

A friend of mine started the scheme two weeks ago.

There is no cut-off point. This is an open-ended scheme, as indicated by the fact that an employee can avail of it every 5 years.
