i know this subject has been done to death but it has been a few yrs and I want to get peoples opinion on the timber frame v block debate now as will be building next year. I was always a fan of timber frame because of insulation advantages but seemingly these days cavity walls can be built to a similar U value. Anyone have experience of this. Can anyone that built timber frame back in the boom times share there experiences up till now.?
