Are you talking abou Computer Forensics ???

What line of work are you looking to get into ???

In Europe or US ??

Waterford IT has two courses you might be interested in, Criminal Justice and Forensic science.

There is a course in LIT Limerick along the lines of forensics. Its full time as far as I know and the points were quite high as far as I know.

Hi,

I do that course 'Criminal Justice' in WIT, i'm at second year, it is an EXCELLENT Course, hard, but excellent, and i think its what you are looking for.. loads of people are applying for it..

for more info on it...

hope that helps.

Hi - great thanks for the info in relation to this. the area that I'm interested in is related to the analysis of crime data.. to determine if there are patterns emerging .. My degree course covered statistics in detail (a few years ago now) and I'm looking for some short courses that I could take in relation to crime analysis in that area i.e.using the data that is available - most likely an on-line course as I think it's still a fairly new field here. Any additional info about what might be on offer would be great. thanks for the info so far..

Don't know about short courses but possibly the area of criminology is the one you should be looking into? DIT, Queens and UCD all offer Masters in the area and I'm sure you could do it by distance learning with UK universities.
