I have a student credit card and I can only afford to pay off the minimum each month, but there still seems to be charges place on my card each month even though I pay off the minimum amount, is there a better way to pay it off without these charges being put on each time, taking into consideration I can only afford the minimum each month??

Paying the minimum amount will ensure that you are hit with interest charges on the outstanding balance. That's exactly what the CC provider wants you to do so that they make as much money off you as possible. You need to clear the balance before the credit period expires in order to avoid interest charges. You may be able to transfer to a 0% CC offer to help ninimise you CC charges. See the Financial Best Buys forum for details of special offers.
