Hi All

Did a quick search but couldnt find anything.
Im quite intrested in maybe applying for such a course if it exists, with a view maybe to building a business in a few years.

With Oil going up and up I'd love to be able to study and learn about new practical energy sources that we could generate here in Ireland,

am a big fan of Iceland where they import 0.1% oil for electricity! and are also starting to drive a hydrogen economy, id love to see Ireland be sustainable in energy and maybe export it one day.

thanks

Check out DIT, UCD and Queens. There are various courses there.
They may only be postgrads though.

tks Ixus

will do, have been checking out Open university aswell..
a pity they(the UK gov) subsidise the UK courses but not ROI ones, prices are over double the cost. :(

Agreed. Checkout http://boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055308628 for a list of NDP sponsored courses. There only appears to be one Masters in Water & Environmental Engineering at UCD which is covered by this, though I'm not sure if it's running. Would be worth contacting the admissions in UCD to find out.
