Counselling courses - Dublin

looking into Counselling courses with a friend. Seems to be many options - including registration with professional bodies. 4 year degree is now a basic requisite. Has anyone any advice. ?
IICP Tallaght,
PCI College,
Griffith College,
DBS Dublin,
NUIM Maynooth

It seems also the certificate approach initially might be the best ?
