Wondering if anyone can give me an approx. cost for affidavit. Could be quite lengthy but I have all supporting documents. And if so, steer me in the right direction..
It's a bit like how long is a piece of string. It really depends on how much work you are willing to put in yourself, after all it is your take on the issues. If you are confident you can write the issues down after all you are the best judge of what are the issues according to you,
If you want a solicitor to write it for you or look over what you have written then they will charge time but Affidavits are usually less formal giving your evidence as you see it. The completed document will need to be verified by a Commissioner of Oaths to ensure it is properly sworn
If you are capable of writing it yourself in the correct format, a Commissioner for Oaths can witness it for a very modest fee. There is also a small fee for filing it.
