Just wondering if anyone has any experience of doing this and what their experience was. I have setup accounts with Transfermate, EX Trade and Oanda..
I setup the accounts to compare rates between them aand it's very easy so thought why not if I,m doing one, do three..
the spread for converting from EUR to USD was 2% on EX trade, the spread on Oanda was 0.02% which is amazing to me that such a rate is open to non-institutional investors... Transfermate don't seem to offer online quotes so just wondering if anyone knows roughly what their spread is like or if anyone has any experience of any of the above three companies??
I know Custom House is the custodian for a couple of them which is a major negative given the issues with them in 2011 but I guess your money is only going to be there for 3 days maximum.
