Hi, current predicament is that it appears poor design and workmanship have caused a retaining wall to rear of my house to lean forward.
I've attempted to claim via my own insurer but it's been denied on above grounds and on a clause that says there is no cover unless the house is damaged by the wall, which it's not as it's not fallen over yet.
The builder has admitted fault, I still tried my own insurance as he reckons his wouldn't pay out. The work needs to be done now and I can push him to stump up and he will but from the limited info I can post here is there any way he could claim successfully?
There was no contract or plans, he just built what we spoke about.
