Contract with foreign company

Hi all,
I started a new job 1.5 years ago with a company setting up in Ireland. As I was the first employee hired my contract had the company details of the foreign (Asian) base. However as the company grew and we established premises and an Irish subsidiary all future employment contracts were with the Irish company.
Now HR want me to sign a new contract (simplified) with more or less the same terms. However at this juncture I don't want to sign again with the Asian base as it states that all laws and policies of that country apply. As I am paid by the Irish company and a registered employee on their accounts am I entitled to insist on an contract from them? I'm fine with them referencing the parent company but for leave, disability and other key entitlements Irish employment law should apply?
Anyone any experience or thoughts?
