Hi
Am considering quartz as a worktop surface (coswell cream)

Does anyone have this installed and is it practical

Joshea I got a new kitchen last year and loved the cream quartz which the granite supplier had but he seriously disuaded me from getting it and I went for a black granite instead (which is fab BTW and happy I went for this in the end). His reason was its stains very easily even with regular sealing and could just look a mess after a few years and is much more suitable for a bathroom than a kitchen. At the end of the day the final decision was mine and what swung it for me was any of the Granites were cheaper than the quartz so I knew he wasn't trying to sell the most expensive option.

Hi joshea . I,m a kitchen fitter and I have never seen a problem with quartz ( over 20 years fitting ) ps 1st post

We have a lovely cream coloured quartz top on our island unit and it looks fab and really brightens the kitchen up.....no marks yet...(but only in 3 months..;)

I have black quartz on cream kitchen, no problems and is nice and
shiny
