Condensation on double glazing

Perhaps someone might be able to help me on this...Even though our house has double glazing throughout, condensation is a big problem. The house is less than ten years old and none of the vents are blocked (afaik). I am wondering if it is a building fault, e.g., windows were not fitted properly. We had partial double glazing in our previous house and they didn't have this problem. Any comments would be much appreciated...

Do you mean that the condensation is between the panels of the double glazing and therefore the seals are gone or is it sitting on the pane?

Do you regularly let fresh air circulate throughout the house? We were told some years ago that about an hour a day is the proper time taken to air the house each day and I would usually try to achieve this in our house. I have seen other houses where they don't do this and they therefore have a mould problem.

Thanks for the replies...the condensation is on the inside, not between the panes, so that water runs down onto the window sills, and is now causing the wooden sills to warp.

is it everywhere, only bedrooms, or only on north side of house

Now that you mention it, it is mainly the windows facing North that are affected (also the bathroom window, on gable side of house, so facing more or less west...)

Sounds like air is needed to ventilate/dry off these rooms and panes. This is a problem now that houses are too airtight.
