Conca Park Hotel Sorrento

Has anyone stayed in the Conca Park Hotel in Sorrento. Trying to book it and have sent several emails and gotten no reply. Rang them and they insist that all bookings are made via email but won't reply to any mail. Makes me think theres something dodgy with the hotel. Getting good deal but maybe theres a reason....

How are you supposed to make payment by email? I'd be very reluctant to send credit card details in an unsecured email.

We stayed there a couple of years ago and although the location was good for the town our room was awful. The reception area looked nice but everywhere else wasn't great - although it had a pool, the pool area rarely had any sun. I wouldn't stay here again. Be careful booking hotels in Italy 3* are not the equivalent to a 3* here.

We stayed the the "Bristol" in Sorrento a few years back. Would recommend if going full or half board.

Stayed in the Minerva last year. Lovely hotel, got a room with a huge balcony/terrace. Very close to the Bristol. Excellent hotel.
