Having bought the PC I now need:

An all-in-one
A Firewire
An external hard drive to back up to.

Any recommendations for any of the above and the best place to buy?

Thanks,

gg

An all-in-one

What does this mean?

A Firewire

You mean a Firewire/IEEE 1394 PCI controller card or something else? If the new PC does not include USB 2.0 then a combined Firewire/USB 2.0 card might be a good option for future proofing it. However most new PCs should include onboard and/or PCI card based USB 2.0 nowadays.

Might be worth checking the hardware vendor recommendations on boards.ie.

All-in-one = printer/scanner/copier and maybe fax

It does have USB 2.0.and the Firewire is for editing video footage, so is it just a standard Firewire Card that I need?

I see - thanks.

Yeah - if you have a PCI expansion slot spare then you can get a suitable Firewire card for c. €20 these days.

Can you recommend one then?

Where can I get one for this price?

Re: all in one's and firewire

I myself cannot as I don't know much about them - sorry.

Where can I get one for this price?

As mentioned above [broken link removed], and possibly other outlets locally, have them for €25.
