Hi,
I am completing a form RCT35 for 2009 and have noticed that a Relevant Payments card for a sub contractor is for 2008. The 2008 card was issued on 1/12/08 with a limit of €100,000 and I thought that this was valid for a year from 1/12/08 to 30/11/09. However, I have now discovered that I should of had a relevant payments card for this subcontractor for 2009. What am I going to do? All other cards are in date and anybody who should of had tax deducted at 35% has had that done. This is the only error and I genuinely thought that his card was valid for 1 year from the date of issue.
He has a valid C2 card for 2009 and all payments made to him were gross payments. I spoke to my boss and he said that he thought the card was valid for a year from date of issue too.
What can I do?
Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.
thanks,
