Company Director Tax Credits

Hi all

Is a company director who pays paye on a monthly basis on salary (not annual income tax return).. entitled to a paye tax credit? We have 2 directors working here and one got the relief but the other didnt..

any help appreciated.

A proprieatry director (beneficial owner of more than 15% of the oridinary share capital of the company) is not entitled to the PAYE tax credit.

If the director who has the credit is not entitled to it, you should have his credits amended as he will end up with a liability at the end of the year otherwise.
