Can you go to a company AGM if you hold shares through a platform like Trade Republic etc?

I have some shares in Irish companies and thought I saw some reference to it somewhere but can't find anything on the app. Just curiosity value really

I have some shares held via E*Trade and get notifications of general meetings, voting and proxy options.

I own some shares on DeGiro, and never hear anything about AGMs, etc.

Seems you have to click a box for inclusion in the share register, fees can sometimes apply but they list "corporate activity" as free. I just wanted the Irish ones but this doesnt seem possbile
