Commuter towns to Douglas, Cork

What are the best commuter/satellite towns to commute to Douglas? Prefer a country area or village but don't want a long commute.

Shanbally, Monkstown, Fountainstown, Crosshaven, Carrigaline, Ringaskiddy.

Ballygarvan/Fivemile/Ballinhassig/Riverstick/Belgooly - all of these are smallish villages on roads to Kinsale/Bandon, nearest to city listed first. You have a couple of options to get to douglas - you could slip in the back Donnybrook road near Carrigaline, or go down the airport hill and take a right at the Bull McCabe pub. Belgooly would be about 20 minute drive to Douglas.
