Communion Dress gone off white

Hi

My daughter is making her Holy Communion this year and we would like her to wear my wife's communion dress. Unfortunately the dress is 30 years old has gone an off white colour. Is there anything that we can do to make it white again, obviuosly without doing any damage.

You could take it to a specialist but really I don't know if theres anything that can be done. Perhaps ask your local dry cleaners for their opinion as they have often seen everything ! For future reference it should be kept in black paper and this retains the white, I still have my christening dress from 28 years ago and its perfect.

Lemon Juice and Vinegar are both whitening agents, however you'd need to test a small area first
