Any business owners here have experience of the revaluation process carried out in many counties over the last number of years?
Did it lead to a huge increase or decrease in rates?

Decrease in my case from €8104 to €7332 this year - I was quite surprised.

They didn't take account of a mezzanine storage / office area as it was an "internal modification of a temporary nature"

I certainly won't be appealing.

Generally seems to be a lot fairer than previous valuations though some have had surprising increases that are not warranted - but they seem to be open to argument for lower rating
