Comments on Rathcoole area

Hi

I am looking at properties in Rathcoole, county Dublin and would appreciate comments on this area.

I noticed that there are new builds taking place in Broadfield Manor

It is OK. There is something mildly depressing about the place though. I would not buy there.

Note I rent down the road from Rathcoole.
 
Hi, would disagree with 'UFC' comments. Rathcoole is a nice community village with lots of little shops, cafes, haridressers, services etc. There is a nice public park there and Avoca handweavers. It has the feel of a country village. Nice quite area to rent or buy. See other thread as mentioned by Sue Ellen.
 
I moved to Peyton in Rathcoole 2 and half years ago and love it here.

Rathcoole has nearly everything you could want and its not far from the city centre or any of the large shopping centres. But close enough to the fields of open space that you dont feel like your in the middle of a built up area.
