Cold-calling: Red Sea research

In the space of 48 hours on Tuesday and Wednesday, I received 3 calls from this crowd - 2 at work and 1 at home. All 3 times I cut them off before they could start their spiel.

Anyone know what they are about ? I was so tempted to use the Jerry Seinfeld response but didn't think of it in time.

they are actually a genuine market research company - they won't be selling you anything and won't give your details to anyone. They will simply be asking your opinions of a product or service on behalf of the company responsible for the product/service.

(I'm not connected with them - they are in fact a competitor of the company I work for - they are in fact Red C rather than red sea).
