Cohabiting Couple & Retaining Full Welfare Payments

Since the recent introduction of civil partnerships I am trying to get a handle on this situation.

A & B both on C.E. scheme which could terminate soon.
A. Is also on Disability Allowance.

Leaving Benefit aside:-

If in the morning A only had their DA and B only their JSA and their joint means was 20k would they both receive the maximun payment of €188 pw or would they only be entitled to €188 + Qualified Adult rate.

If one partner is on DA and the other JA then no couple limitation applies and both receive the personal rate of €188 - this only applies in the case where one is on Disability Allowance (DA).

If you or your spouse/civil partner/cohabitant qualifies for Disability Allowance and the other is getting another social welfare payment, you will each get the weekly personal rate of your respective payment.
