Can somebody please advice. Got an offer on land. The purchaser paid deposit july and we are still waiting to complete. Our solicitor advised us to send final completion 28 days notice but am relunctant to do this. Advised purchaser and stated we would like deal closed this week. He said he will sort everything out. We have now received a phonecall he wants our solicitor to ring person in bank to verify what is happening, Our solicitor saying this is not his job. I think purchaser wants us to ring to put our minds at rest that money will be forthcoming once some minor problems sorted. Is this an unusual step for the purchaser to make or is he concerned about been served a completion notice. We dont know how hard to push for a completion any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks

Why don't you just listen to the solicitor and then make up your own mind? You've posted the same issue several times now, your purchasers are messers and you don't want to offend them.

If you and they would just stop pussyfooting around the issue, you might get somewhere.
