Choose from: Pomegranate, Kiwi, Grape, Cranberry, Tayberry, Fig and Gojiberry.

Has anyone grown any of these?
Didn't think they'd grow in our climate.

Tayberry will do very well here and is apparently delicious - cross between a raspberry and a blackberry so very vigorous in this climate. Fig, kiwi, grape would need a very sunny south facing aspect with excellent drainage but in a good summer could do quite well. Not sure about gojiberry (although BBC Gardeners' World has planted them). Cranberry - I thought they grew those in freezing cold places like Maine and that you need very boggy soil so they may well be okay here.

I got all of em myself and am going to try them all out. I already have sucessfully grown figs and Grapes in a polytunnel. Apparently there are separate male and female Kiwi plant needed for pollination in Kiwi, that wasn't obvious from their labelling (I picked two that looked different!!!) Tayberrys I have grown outside with reasonable sucess, Cranberries - my plant grew but produced no berries, As Sherkman pointed out they need VERY acid/peaty soil. The Goji berry and Pomgengrate are new to me so I'll see how they go. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply pjordan.

I didn't get any of them in the end but I'll be interested to hear how you get on with yours.
