Hi

If anyone has recently had an interview for the position of Clerical Officer in the County Council would you offer me some advice. I am really banking on getting this job as I am currently working 80 miles away from home and I would like to get a job nearer home. I have 8 years experience of office work, a secretarial course and a degree.

Any help or advice you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know of any possible questions that could be asked? I really want this job and want to have all angles covered.

Shanesgal - I would suggest that you send your C.V to all the local HSE areas to be considered for temporary work. The HSE is always the biggest employer and would have more oppurtunities than the council.

I would also suggest you contact the conucil and ask them how to prepare for the interview and have a look at the website.
