Can someone please kindly advise me the way to claim my pension contribution. I worked for HSE ireland for 9 years, and I had since left HSE for nearly 3yr. I wonder if it is possible to claim my pension contribution for the duration that I worked with HSE, and if so, what is the best way to do it.
thanks

If it's the same as the civil service pension, it's "preserved" i.e. you don't get it until you retire. You have no entitlement to a payout at this stage. You would get a pension of 9/80ths of the salary point you were on when you left the HSE and a lump sum of three times that amount. I believe it can be claimed any time after 60.

Hi j26, thanks. If I were to die before 60, would my wife or children be able to access the money?
