Claiming med1 tax credit for prescription bought in the UK

Morning all

I may be purchasing a medication from the UK soon on a regular basis and collecting from Newry, it's more cost effective to do it this way (€137 instead of approx €190)
My question is will I be able to upload my receipt to the receipts tracker and claim the tax credit for it.

From reading this I think I can as the pharmacy is licensed in the UK, but I would appreciate another set of eyes as I don't want to get caught claiming for something I shouldn't be.

I've claimed for prescriptions filled abroad before. I wouldn't over think it for the sake of c. €28 worth of relief. I'd just submit the claim.

This medication is not covered by it.

In the past I’ve bought prescription medication in France and I just included it as part of the usual claim. Can’t see why not.

I also got dental work done in Newry and they had med 2 forms ready as well.
