Hi All,

Need some advise please.
My situation, i work from home(my designated workplace) and travel a lot abroad.
I use my own car to travel to and from meetings and to the airport.
the company pays me an annual Car allowance as part of my salary, its more a part of the standard package, i also get paid mileage for business travel, no other costs.

I assume i can claim for running expenses, excluding Fuel, so general wear and tear, maintenance, insurance, car tax for the business mileage portion of my annual mileage using the Claim for Car Expenses and Capital Allowances form, is that correct assumption?

thanks in advance

So what you're saying is that the mileage rates need to cover everything, got it......thats a shame, i thought i could get some tax relief on the other running costs outside of the standard mileage rates.

cheers
