Hello,

I live in Dublin and work in Dublin city center but my employer took a new contract with a company based in Newbridge co. Kildare. He asked me if I could work at their location for one year and agreed to pay the car reimbursement fees according to the article on the revenue webpage.

I don't currently own a car or driver's license but my wife works very near my prospected new location and I would get a lift with her in the morning , coming back in the evening with her as well. Will I get into trouble with the revenue or my employer, if they find out that I have no car on my name , no insurance and no driver's license if I claim the car expenses on my name ? Everything is on my wife's name.

Thanks a lot
Seamus
