VEC teacher retiring at age 56 (not on health grounds) - will her VEC pension be reduced by the state Old Age Pension (OAP), or does the integration reduction only occur at age 65, when she gets the OAP.
As a teacher who took early retirement [not on health grounds].I need to have a large number of A1 PRSI contributions before I qualify for non contributary OAP.I think around 10 years contributions.As it was only D1 PRSI contributions I had while teaching I need to find alternative employment to build up these A1 contributions.
