I have put a booking fee down on a house off the plans. Howevera developement just next door to mine has been released and now we are wondering should we switch. (Apologes if this is not an appropriate post)
What we have
- 4 bed (4th bedroom is a box room/study down stairs. Other 3 bedrooms are large)
- Smallish sitting room
- Large kitchen but no 2nd living space. Not really a kitchen/diner.
- Front garden not walled in
- Concrete 1st floor
- Large utility room
What we could change to
- Regular 3 bed type (1 box room)
- Walled front garden
- Nicer looking house (externally)
- 2nd living room
- Larger main sitting room
- No utility room
- We have seen another developement by this builder.Very nice.
- 5 grand more!
- ~100 sq foot smaller
I cant decide what to do. Internally I prefer the 4 bed. Externally, the 3 bed. If I am selling on in a few years, whats is more important?
