Child has a problem with tooth. I phoned health board who said that he woudld be seen before christmas 05. To date, he has not been seen. Has anyone any experience of delays? To be fair they did say that if there was pain, he would be seem immediately, otherwise i should go to my own dentist and pay privately. Last time i did this, there was an exam and a polishing and a fee of €125!!
My query is basically, how can I get the school dentist to see the child and if he is not seen, can I go to own dentist under the treatment purchase plan?
