This is a regular saver account from Halifax... 7.25% pa on amounts up to €200 per month, but the accumulated amount after one year is transferred to an account earning 3%. pa. Up to 2 withdrawals allowed each year.
You can hold up to 10 accounts, but if you have more than 2 you may be required to provide birth certs for the children, and the T&Cs are not clear whether you could be required to provide such proof in other scenarios....
Has anyone opened such an account and have you been asked for proof of having a child?
(I have a child of course... I wouldn't be thinking of opening accounts otherwise...I'm just a very curious type of person
