Child care - Cork

Any one any idea of how much i should expect to pay for childminding of my 6 month old baby in Cork? Hours would be from about 9am dropoff to 6pm pickup.

Cork City childcare prices are similar to Dublin, I'd say around €180.

Pixk up the phone book and ring the creches in your area and ask them at least you will have a definate amount rather than us speculating as to what it might cost.
I am in county Cork and pay 240 for two children, for a full week, 8.20 to 5.30 all meals included but I would expect Cork city to be a lot more expensive.

150euro-ish tends to be the going weekly rate. As you will be picking the baby up relatively late, it might be a little bit more in your case.

My child goes to an excellent facility in Cobh and we pay €165 a week for 8-6pm with all meals.
I think it's a very good deal when you see some of the prices elsewhere in the country.
