Hi,

I don't know if this is the right place to post this, if not you might please point me in the right direction?

My husband and I are separated and he moved from Dublin to the UK for work last year. I am also working full time over here and claiming child benefit for my two babas.

Can he claim for child benefit in the UK as well?

I've googled this a number of different ways and it seems very hard to find an answer?

Child benefit can only be claimed by one person so if you are claiming the benefit here it is not possible for your ex to claim also. The Irish rate is much higher.
