Cheapest place to buy a digital camera

I am going on holidays in a couple of months & want to buy a digital camera - something fairly basic probably bottom end of the price range. My query is am I better off to buy:

1. in Ireland while sales still on
2. in Dublin airport duty free on way out
3. in Newark airport on stop-over

i got mine on pixmania.com - there are threads on here about them. Some folk complaining about service etc but i found them to be fine and considerably cheaper than the high street. For example, i also got a memory card for the new camera and it was 1/3 of the price for the exact same card in town. Look up the threads in here and make your own mind up but i'd recommend them.
 
If you're buying something "cheap & cheerful", they cost buttons here. Take a few snaps, get used to it & then head off on your holiday.
