I'm looking to start contributing to a pension asap. Im self employed but looking towards a PRSA for convenience.
I've read up on asset allocation etc and am inclined towards straight forward, passively managed index funds at as low cost as possible, ideally a mix of European and developing equity, corporate bonds etc.
Who tends to be the cheapest for this? Unfortunately with Quinn life gone there doesn't seem to be much out there without a drag of contribution and annual charges etc.
Irish life seem to have a good choice but big charges.
Zurich seem better on charges (through execution only broker) but choice isn't great, from what i can see, also some index funds are only available to corporate customers..,- not sure why?
