British King Charles met another monarch, Pope Leo, and the two church leaders said some prayers together in public. First time it's happened since the world-changing split of the two churches 500 years ago.

The Orange Order were most unhappy and wrote to Charles to complain. Ian Paisley's son said Charles should abdicate.

Mind you, these religions are so similar it would be easier to tell Jedward apart.

The mind boggles. It's no wonder everything is such a slog in the north if this is what people are wasting time getting worked up about.

I agree with them, but for different reasons.

The Catholic priests can do magic. The Protestant ones can't.

That's the nature of tribal conflicts, sure it's the same lark in Canaan (newer names for the area are the subject of tribal disputes).

On a lighter note it's good to see the heads of State of two of the world's remaining theocracies getting on so nicely.

I agree but as I try to base by beliefs on evidence and probability I therefore do not believe in the supernatural and so I am not a religious person.
If there was a great schism between players of Pac-Man and Super Mario which had led to centuries of conflict and death it would be no less logical. It would be good to see the head of the Pac-Man sect and the head of the Super Mario sect playing together again. Hopefully they avoid the call of duty.
