We have recently switched from sole trader to limited company. We have always made yearly donations to charity. As a ltd company, is the donation tax deductible?

Thanks,

From [broken link removed] "A new relief is being introduced from 6 April 1998 for donations by companies to certain Irish charities. Relief will be available for donations between £250 and £10,000 to any one charity in a year, subject to an overall limit of £50,000 or 10% of the donor's taxable income, whichever is lower."

HI Purple

I think it has become even more generous since. I don't think that the limitations apply anymore.
