Changing to HAP - landlords not HAPpy

Hi folks,

I have been living in an apartment for 8th years now no problem whatsoever between agent/landlord . My circumstances have changed recently and have been means tested for HAP and got the application.
My agent does not want the application what is the best thing to do?
I want to as possible make my landlord happy and also I need a place to stay with my wife and kids.

Any suggestions would be appreciated thanks in advance
