Changed computer and lost access to ROS

I have been using ROS online for the last few years. I changed my laptop eight or nine months ago and unfortunately I cannot access ROS online ( for business) anymore on my new computer.
Would the prudent option be to just totally reregister with ROS ( I know you have to wait for passwords and a RAN in the post but thats' okay , there is still time before the deadline to submit my 2024 Income Tax returns). If I went trying to resurrect my old laptop it would take me a full day if not more.

My question is do I have to cancel the lost registration before I try to reregister again. Is this a straight forward process?
 
Below is from CoPilot and worked for me a few years ago:

  • Go to the ROS Registration page
  • Choose Reset ROS Login
  • Answer your saved security questions correctly (you get 3 attempts)
  • If successful, you'll be able to download a new certificate
