I bought an apartment at end of 2014 and the previous owner had registered the current tenancy with the PRTB. The same tenant is still in place and I'm about to increase the rent, within the rules of the PRTB and rental freeze requirements.
The rent is well below market rate.
I previously increased the rent in Feb. 2015.
My question is do I need to inform the PRTB of change of owner?
I know I will need to inform them when I increase the rent but should I have informed them when I took ownership? Couldn't find this info on their website.
