I have been offered a lecturing position in an IT but only as part time maternity cover for one semester. I am currently in full time employment but in a start-up company so job security isn't the highest. Lecturing is what I have always wanted to do. Does anyone know what are the chances of being kept on in an IT when the period of maternity cover ends? Would I be mad to leave my current job to pursue this?
