I want to change career to Project Managemetn but I'm confused as to what certification I should obtain for any training I do, I don't want to do a course & then find out it is not recognised by prospective employers.

Prince/PMP (from PMI) would be a good start and most big players are aligned with one or the other.

It should be backed up with a diploma though and remember nothing beats experience.

thanks getting experiece is the hard part but if I can get the qualifications and with my 11 years experience in IT then i hope to change career.
